Edibles

marijuanacookingEven only as a medicinal drug, marijuana has found its way to the food and beverage field where it is now being prepared as such. Indeed, marijuana’s use in food and beverage recipes is fast-growing its popularity nowadays. Patients would rather have their serving of the drug through a snack or drink than suffer the effects of the smoke to the lungs.

There are a lot of marijuana recipes available in the Internet. It’s as good as asking Google for a recipe for cookies. You will surely find something to whip up made from marijuana. With such an emergence, marijuana will surely be a chef’s popular ingredient.

While some rely on another’s marijuana recipes, others would like to just incorporate marijuana in their existing recipes. Whatever the case, the important thing to remember when cooking with marijuana is to experiment with your recipe. This means that you have to experiment on the amount of cannabis you put in your food. This will let you know what your tolerance level is.

However, experimenting doesn’t tell you that you can just put ounces and ounces of marijuana in your recipe. Your motto for cooking marijuana should be “less is better than more.” This is primarily because if you take in too much you will have to deal with it for a longer time until it wears off.

For food recipes, marijuana leaves and shake are the most widely used. Some treat marijuana leaves as any other spice and sprinkle some on their spaghetti or ready to eat ravioli. As for the popular favorite, cookies and brownies made from marijuana are a definite pick. As for drinks, marijuana can be used for sweetened or unsweetened marijuana tea and as well as milkshakes. The good thing with these recipes is that they can often be made in advance and stored for use when desired.

Another popular addition to recipes is the marijuana cannabutter. This is made from the byproduct of the actual plant. Cannabutter can be used daily for buttered toasts, main dishes and a series of candies and snacks.

With all the things that has been happening with marijuana and cooking, it will surely not be a surprise when one chef would whip up a whole new dish made especially with marijuana. With this incredible drug, you will surely take your diet into a whole new extraordinary level. With marijuana, you can truly be one extraordinary chef.

wonderful information. less is more is also a great idea when eating cannabis. some potheads eat way too much b/c digestion takes much longer than inhaling.

Being a chef and a medical licensed user I find this hits home… the amount of times Ive been asked over the years for good recipes has forced me to come up with short of a cookbook. THC being fat soluble lends itself quite well to everything from cream soups to ice cream and everything in between.
