Who can resist the comfort of an ice cream, more so, when it was added with the twist of marijuana?
With this delectable piece, you will surely hit the kitchen and start creating your concoction. Ingredients:
25 grams of butter
18 fluid ounces of single cream
75 grams of sugar
A pinch of salt
¼ ounce crumbled hash or 10 grams crushed bud
15 ounces of bananas (peeled)
3 tablespoons of rum
5 tablespoons of honey
Directions:
•Heat the cream in a saucepan until before it boils.
•In another saucepan melt the butter together with the sugar and salt.
•Heat the hash with a flame and add it into the melted butter and stir.
•Whisk the cream with the butter.
•Put the bananas into a large bowl and mash them completely.
•Add in the cream, rum and honey. You can add other ingredients as you wish. You can try chocolate chips, nuts etc.
•Mix all the ingredients perfectly and after this pour them all into a chilled shallow plastic container.
•Cover the container and chill for a few hours until the desired texture is formed.
•If a mushy consistency is attained, transfer the mixture into a chilled bowl and whisk away until it smoothens.
•Return the mixture to its covered container and chill until firm.
•Serve and enjoy.

@aloha & danny, obviously the high is going to depend on the quality of the buds used, not the ice cream recipe.
ive been trying to find a sorbet recipe for the longest but i dont think theres any way to extract the thc without milk, cream, or butter. ive been thinkng of trying it with coconut milk, and making a pineapple coconut sorbet with thc in it.
ill let you know how that goes.

@vincent nice job trying to be a smart ass. 28.35 grams in an ounce. A quarter ounce is about 7.1 grams. And there IS a HUGE difference in potency between 10 grams of bud versus a quarter of hash.

when cooking bud in butter, for the most potent result, heat at a low temperature (low to medium), stirring CONSTANTLY for two hours (relatively, until the butter takes on a bright green color). You must stir to not burn the bud… otherwise your food will taste like the last hit in a bowl appose to the first.
And YES. You should (want) to strain the bud from the butter. Otherwise, it will ruin the consistency of the food and simply make it less palatable.

The heating part is for if you are using hash in the recipe, which you would just crumble into the melted butter.
With the bud it can stay in the butter and should and to be as finely ground as possible.

this sounds amazing but im confused. what does it mean by heat it with a flame? burn it? and if im using bud, am i straining the bud out after i cook it in the butter? kinda vague. help pleaseee

@andy hash is bud trichomes (the little golden sticky things) that’s compressed. It’s a thc concentrate and makes you much higher. If you are getting cut hash (and it’s cut with some really nasty shit sometimes like tar and shoe polish) I’d suggest a new dispensary or dealer.

@andy Then you’re not getting real hash mate, you’re smoking hash watered down with incense. Real hash concentrates the THC.

@dan, in the UK the bud is many times more potent compared to hash which is very mild. thats why i was wondering.

um… 1/4 of an oz is 7 grams so 10 grams isnt that much of a difference… 3 grams… But its different because hash is more potent, its concentrated thc basically so you dont need as much.

I used this recipe last night, it made 5 good sized servings(about a cup each) the only thing I had trouble with was the amount of time the cream and butter were supposed to be on heat so I guessed and it came out good, timing might need some clarifying but overall this recipe is great! I added in some cocoa mix and marshmellows and chunks of brownies and pieces of cannacaramels
