Greetings,

When I read this posting I must say...it was like a dream come true. I have always wanted to utilize my literary skills in a way that could sustain me. I see this as an opportunity to not only get my name out there as a writer but also to inform the public of the most professional and beneficial medical marijuana dispensaries. I am licensed and have had my red card from the state for several months now. My knowledge of different strains is vast and I have visited many dispensaries in the Denver area that I would love to write reviews for, both good and not so good. Please consider me for this position, it would mean so much to me because I have always been a writer.

Thanks,
Ann

Rod (et.al.),

Sounds like you're recommending that the Pharma's set up product trials, that may require volunteers to get high and provide a clinical technician with the explanation of what effects they're getting (without knowing which strain they've just bonged).

Now that seems interesting, because it'll require an entirely new set of vernacular to be developed. Possibly a classification dictionary as well as training programs in how to "describe" each sensation, etc etc etc.

If any of the labs are paying attention, this is a rare opportunity to capture major market share by becoming the de facto standards developer. May be what is needed to turn the economy around. An inexpensive, high potency, pharma quality, consumer packaged good. Taxation goes up, stress levels go down, everyone is happy. Drug czars & drug lords go home, we spend the freed up budget on education & research.

Sounds like a good plan?

When Missouri legalizes medical marijuana I would like the option of using existing infrastructure. I want to get my doctor's prescription filled at the pharmacy. FDA approved strains at generic prices. Let the pharma industry compete. Grow ops and dispensaries are recreational for-profit pursuits. With names like black widow, ak47, lamb's breath, ad infinitum, we have no promise of safety, quality or genetic integrity. I'm paying taxes so the FDA can protect me from snake oil salesmen, false experts and rip-offs. How will the healthcare proffessionals know what works if they can't do clinical trials and have information on what patients are using? Anectdotal evidence is worthless in science. I don't want to go to or support dispensaries. I already get my meds dispensed in a safe, clean and private manner

I would be interested in evaluating dispensaries in SW Colorado. I am a licensed patient. Let me know if I can help out.

Oh, I use to be a City and County land-use planner. Perhaps my experience could help with city and town regulations, information gathering and dispersal, public process, etc.

I have time and interest, as well as the conviction that prescribed mj is compassionate.

Thanks,
