medical-marijuana-dispensaryThat’s right… If you are a medical marijuana patient, you might have just read the job title of your dreams! This is the latest job opening position for the Westword Newspaper in Denver Colorado, a job that allows a medical marijuana patient to “review” Colorado medical marijuana dispensaries.

This medical marijuana reviewer position that has received overwhelming response, up to 100 job applications submitted so far. The medical marijuana business is booming in Colorado with dispensaries opening up quickly all over the state, and with the Fed’s recent decision which says people aren’t supposed to be prosecuted for buying medical marijuana in the legal states. Colorado is one of fourteen states that allow the sale of medical marijuana.

The medical dispensary critic will visit dispensaries in the Colorado region, and report their evaluation of the dispensaries. Giving other medical marijuana patients the opportunity to get insight on their local dispensaries. Things to expect covers the verification process, waiting room area, security, quality of medical marijuana, available strains of cannabis for different ailments, accessibility for handicapped patients.

Having a proper review of the dispensary itself and not just the medical marijuana is a great benefit to a patient. We are looking for safe access and clean places to visit. Yes the medical marijuana industry is new and does not have statewide regulations to how dispensaries handle medical marijuana that is provided for patients.

A good dispensary provides a well lit atmosphere and the ‘bud tender’ should have a good knowledge of the different strains of medical marijuana available at any given time. Medical Marijuana Dispensaries should openly communicate with their patient to help understand the specific needs. Medical marijuana is available in a variety of ways for the patients.

Rhode Island Becomes 3rd State Allowing Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

rhode-island-medical-marijuanaExciting news… Joining the list of legal medical marijuana states is Rhode Island, which is now the third state in the nation and the first on the East Coast to permit marijuana sales to chronically ill patients.

Rhode Island state lawmakers had a remarkable vote to override  a veto from the Reublican party. The senate voted 35-3 to pass this bill for medical marijuana.

Patients who reside in California can purchase marijuana from stores by supplying their patients a state-licensed card. This combination of regulated distribution and allowing patients to grow a limited quantity for themselves is the best way to ensure safe access for patients.

Rhode Island began allowing chronically ill patients to register with the states Department of Health and posses up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana in usable form and 12 plants. But the state never created a legal way to obtain marijuana.

Though marijuana remains illegal under federal law, it has been said that the Obama administration will not target dispensaries who obey state guidelines.

This is amazing news that just shows the massive strides taking place in the medical marijuana industry. Millions of people are realizing the factual benefits of medicinal marijuana.

Happy four-twenty to the Rhode Island patients, congratulations and it just shows what can be accomplished! Your voice will not go unheard!

This topic of legalizing marijuana in other states and collect taxes has received more attention in today’s current economic standings than previously. With multiple states having to perform cutbacks leading to more job loss, states as California where marijuana is legal for medicinal purposes actually has supported the states budget deficit by adding over $1 million in tax dollars generated from marijuana dispensaries across the state.

The question of legalizing marijuana has reached the desks of President Obama and he also shares his views about this possibility, see below.

As more and more start to accept the ACTUAL benefits of marijuana for health purposes there continues to shine a light for those who pursue the legalization of this medicine. States can thrive from the benefits of taxation while also creating a spark in the local job market from dispensary openings, support local horticulture centers while local farmers grow the medicine to be distributed.
